Chinese water torture . . .

The wheels of progress turn slowly. Yesterday I dropped off a CD of images from my echocardiogram at the Solvang post office. They promised me that for the Express Mail fee of $14.65 they would have it to SF1 by noon today. I guess I should have asked which SF1. Because you get what you pay for. As of 4:00 PM it had not been delivered to the doctor’s office. The USPS tracking system indicates that it was at least at the SF post office as of 7:00 this morning. But the delay doesn’t really matter anyway because I’m told that the doctor was not in the office today. He’ll be back on Monday -- the CD should be there by then, right? I’m promised that he will review the images on Monday and comment regarding any additional testing he would like conducted prior to an office visit. Progress . . . one drip at a time.

But the scarcity of activity on the medical front today had an upside -- I was able to log a solid day's worth of work. It's good to be useful. Stay tuned -- there will be at least one more post this evening . . .
