Paydirt

The power was out in my neighborhood this morning for the third time in six weeks. But on returning from my morning walk I discovered that this phone message was left by the NY doctor at 6:09AM:

"This is Dr. (name redacted). The treatment of your tumor would be a surgical resection. It should be done in a major cardiac center. There are plenty of those on the West Coast. Either (hospital name #1 redacted), (hospital name #2 redacted), etc. You should see a cardiac surgeon about that. Thank you."

I have to take my younger son to Santa Barbara right now for a school meeting and to begin the process of buying him his first car. I'll get on this immediately upon my return home . . .
