I just received this letter from the eight year-old sister of my new daughter-in-law:
Dear Paul
How are things going at the house? Is Champ doing good? I keep you in my prayers every night. I now that somehow you will be all right. Every night and day I pray for you. I even talk to your guardian angel every night. Remember this that I will always love you forever no matter what.
I am so grateful for what you did for my sister and I now that you will live. We just need to have faith and hope.
God is going to make a true miracle on you Paul. Its because you are speshle to every one exspeshle me!

Sometimes you just gotta cry. I sent her the following reply:
Dear Julia,
Thank you sooooo much for your very sweet letter!
Both the house and Champ are doing very well, thank you, although we may give Champ a bath soon to make him smell better. I don't think he will like that because he seems to like the way he smells just fine.
Thank you for working so hard for me "behind the scenes". I will keep your letter with me to remind me of how speshle you are too!!!

I completely agree with Julia. You are speshle and I too will keep you in my thoughts. And give poor Champ a bath already!!
