Don’t burn the midnight oil.

My friend Kay, the essential oils expert, has advised that oil burners should not be used in conjunction with therapeutic grade oils because the heat can modify their chemical structures. She provided a crash course today on the various ways that oils can be applied. It seems that the French and Germans prefer oral ingestion, the British favor “rectal retention”, while Americans choose the more cautious route of topical application. (But how ‘bout them British, huh?! Still waters run deep!!!) The French and Germans also apply topically, and all cultures inhale the vapors.

I’ve acquired a cool-air evaporator that’s well, really cool. But I’m engaged in all out war here, so I’ll be applying the oils via all four methods. Yep – that means army, navy, air force, marines.
