One lesson I’ve learned over the past two weeks is that the wheels of progress move slower than molasses, so unless I want this data gathering effort to drag on forever I’d better start spinning all the wheels I can find.
In that spirit I’ve filed online inquiries with both of the aforementioned clinical trials of Trabectedin to see whether I am eligible for some sea squirt therapy. The automated systems indicate that I will be contacted by a representative from each trial within ten days.
Let’s see . . . that means I’m moving forward on assessments of the surgical path, the chemo path, and the integrative medicine path. Not bad for somebody that doesn't even have a definitive diagnosis yet.
What’s left? Oh yeah, plain old-fashioned Eastern medicine, an alternative that elicits considerable rancor among Western medicine proponents. Remind me to duck after I post those plans . . .
