At 9AM SF1 indicated that my echo had still not arrived and that they had no record of the individual who had allegedly signed for it. At 11:15AM they advised that it had arrived. I asked them to confirm that it had not been delivered Friday morning as promised by USPS. They then indicated that it HAD been delivered by USPS on Friday morning and owned up to the fact that the error was theirs. The doctor requested that I have a chest CT scan (with contrast) performed before I schedule an appointment with them. I will take this up with my primary care physician on Friday morning.
I also heard from the doctor at SF2. He indicated that he would happy to review my “problem” and requested a copy of the echo, which I will send out tomorrow via USPS, a most reliable overnight delivery service. He also indicated that most patients with cardiac tumors also have a chest MRI done. I will bring this request up as well at Friday’s dance lesson.
