My oldest son Brandon researched a number of integrative cancer treatment centers and sent me a link to one in Illinois that he considers the best: http://www.blockmd.com/aboutus.html The center integrates conventional protocols with advanced complementary therapies that address the physical, nutritional, psychosocial, and spiritual aspects of healing and recovery, and its team includes board-certified oncologists, internists, physician assistants, oncology nurses, psychologists, social workers, registered dieticians, physical therapists, massage therapists, complementary care specialists, medical researchers and patient care coordinators. Sounds interesting.
I believe that someone else may have brought this center to my attention a couple of weeks ago, but these days information sometimes need to cross my radar screen a couple of times before it registers. Of course it also helps to conclude your emails with the gentle encouragement that Brandon typically brings to the table:
“You have to do this. I will take you at gunpoint if you defy me. Defiance will not be tolerated. I am ordering you to go.”
Does anybody know of a facility that specializes in treating patients with both cancer and gunshot wounds?
